Practical tips for painting railings
First work out the working height you need: allow roughly 2 metres above the spot where you are working on the railings.
Make sure the scaffold is level and stable; use the adjustable feet on uneven ground.
Keep tools and materials within reach on the platform, so you don't have to climb down all the time.
Do not work in strong wind (force 6 or higher) and lock the wheel brakes before you climb up.
