Mobile scaffold for 3rd floor
Working at third-floor height, for example on an apartment block or taller building? Then a stable scaffold with sufficient working height is essential.
Which working height do you need?
For work at third-floor height you usually assume a working height of around 10 metres. At this height we always advise paying extra attention to wind conditions and the ground surface; our fitters give targeted advice on this during assembly.
Working height is not the same as platform height: the working height is the platform height plus approximately 2 metres of reach of an average adult. When in doubt between two heights, most customers prefer the higher variant, so you don't have to reach or stand on your toes while working.

Is this the exact height, or does it vary per home?
Floor heights vary slightly per home. 10 metres of working height is a reliable average; if in doubt, feel free to choose a slightly higher working height via the configurator.
Do you assemble the scaffold yourselves, or do I do it myself?
For working heights from 10 metres, such as for the 3rd floor, we assemble the scaffold ourselves in many cases and assess together with you whether additional anchoring to the facade is needed.
Can I also choose a lower working height for the 3rd floor to save money?
You can, but we advise not to cut it too fine: too little working height means you will still have to reach or stand on your toes, which is less safe. Better to choose a slightly higher working height than exactly at the limit.
