Delivery costs per province

The amount in the table pays for both the delivery and the collection at the end. You pick your province, you see one figure including VAT, and that is what you can count on in advance. There is no calculation afterwards: nothing is added for the kilometres driven, for waiting time or for the number of parts in the set. Heavy traffic on the day of delivery does not change the figure either.

The fixed price applies per delivery address rather than per trip. The tower is brought to you and taken away again at the end of the rental period, and both movements sit inside that same amount. This keeps the sums for a job simple, because next to the rental itself there is only one transport line to budget for. What you read in the table is exactly what ends up on the order.

The mobile tower arrives as a complete, counted set of separate parts: frames, platforms, braces, stabilisers and castors. The driver unloads the set at the address you gave, at ground level and as close to the work as the situation allows. Everything is Altrex material and everything goes back as one complete set afterwards, so keep the parts together until the collection date arrives.

Make sure a clear, level spot is ready where the parts can be put down and where the tower can then be assembled. SteigerTaxi does not build the tower and does not deliver it ready to use: you put it together yourself with the manual and the instruction video. That saves time on the delivery day, and while the job runs you can move the tower or change the platform height yourself.

Collecting the tower yourself is free, by appointment, at Zeeburgerpad 89 in Amsterdam. You do need transport that the parts actually fit into: the platforms are 245 cm long, so think of a closed van, a box truck or a trailer with enough loading length. Count on two journeys as well, because the complete set has to come back once the job is finished.

Delivery is the sensible choice if you are further away, have no suitable vehicle or trailer, or would rather spend your time on the work than on driving back and forth. It also pays off for the taller set ups, because a tower for a big working height contains a serious number of frames and platforms. On the delivery day all you have to do is keep the spot clear.

Order before 15:00 on a working day and the tower is with you the next working day. When you reserve you choose the delivery date and the collection date yourself, so the drop off can line up with the day you actually start. Set the collection date with a little room rather than too little, so an overrun on site does not leave you without a tower.

For a job that runs over several days the rental rule works in your favour: the first 24 hours are charged at the full rate, and every day after that comes with a 95% discount. A whole week therefore costs far less than seven separate days in a row. Delivery to the Wadden Islands and to addresses outside the Netherlands is not possible, so those trips cannot be planned.
